Remote work is present but is it the future state of work?

The future of work is changing and technology is playing a central role, however human beings still have a deep desire to connect. We are seeing four dominant options emerge.

Office Only- Traditional 9-5, Monday - Friday work week. These jobs are often essential work jobs related to health, security, manufacturing, food service, transportation, infrastructure and energy.

Office First - Office as a first option for most employees with some remote work for people who earn the right to work remotely or where remote is more efficient. 3-4 days in Office and 1-2 days remote. This represents much of the white collar jobs in corporate and

Remote First - Remote as a first 3-4 days a week and in office for meetings and in office work using flexible workspace that is shared. Features large open communal spaces and small, secure, clean, separate work spaces. Big Technology and electronic service based industries dominate this model.

Remote Only- No office. All meetings are at flexible locations that are close to airports and mass transit. Early stage technology companies and tele health companies have adopted this model most frequently.
